The neighbour has a right over you

Jibril counselled the Prophet ﷺ about the neighbour so often that he thought neighbours would be made heirs. It is one of the plainest teachings in the Sunnah and one of the easiest to let slip — particularly when the neighbour is not a Muslim, or not someone we would choose.
